October/November 2006

Throughout October and November we ran a "Christianity Explored" course. The course was a great success with everyone commenting on how they felt the course had helped them address different issues.

We are now starting the followup to this course as be look at "Discipleship explored". Although it is designed as a similar type course we are taking advantage of the success of the first course to create a new house group that will be based at the church on Wednesday evenings.

The NEW house group:

Starts: Wednesday 18th April at 7:30pm sharp
Finish: 9pm
Venue: Wincanton Baptist Church
Frequency: Weekly.

We believe that house grouips are important. On Sundays we learn from our ministers, but house group allows us to interact with each other and learn from each other. If you don't belong to a house group we have two groups. One on most Tuesdays and this new one on most Wednesdays. It's just the place to be encouraged, ;earn more about who God is and what He means to you. The addeed bonus is making new and better friends.
