PRAYER
Weekly Prayer Meeting at 10:00 each Friday held in Miss Roper
Room, except on the first Friday of each month when it is held at the Methodist
Church.
Please pray for: -
Maggi Hankins and Family: Maggi’s son Matt has had his operation and is making a good recovery.
Please pray for healing.
Andrew, Cathryn, Matthew & Luke: Pray that Andrew is able to get enough rest to enable him to do the things he wants to do.
Colin and Mavis: for Colin’s continued good health.
Steve and Angie: prayer is needed for strength as she faces more treatment.
Paul and Rachel: Pray for Paul as he applies for new jobs, as they have now decided to finish in Hauncayo in August.
Continue praying for his work with the smokeless stove project. Pray
for strength for Rachel especially, as she is finding life very hard at the

Ernie: as he recovers from his recent health concerns.
Jo: pray for “Essence”, the new girl’s cafe that Jo has started running in Harrow,
on Tuesday evenings. Pray that Jo settles well into her new home and makes good
friends there.
School Chaplaincy at King Arthur’s – from 9th June, led by Father Louis
Beasley-Suffolk and supported by staffing, will meet each Thursday afternoon
from 1:30pm until 2:10pm – to the end of the Summer Term. Pray that the Holy
Spirit will bring order to the on-going chaplaincy work.
Wincanton Churches Pray that we and other churches can really
recapture a belief in the power of prayer to change things and get organised
with the Prayer and Policing initiative, which the police are keen on.
Joyce Page: as she considers further training. Pray for clear guidance as to what God wants her to do.
After School Club: please pray for Sheila and the rest of the team involved in this initiative on a Monday afternoon in Wincanton Primary School.

Annual General Meeting Today – 19th June at 1:45pm – following a fellowship lunchThis service will be led by Paul Cattermole, our Moderator.

The Listening Ear Coffee Morning Team is having a review
meeting on Thursday 23rd June at 10.30 in our hall. This meeting is for anyone who helps us and for anyone who would be interested in becoming a helper.
Prayer Ministry team will meet on the 20th June at 7.30pm
in the Church’s new prayer room.
Wincanton Churches Together Breakfast – Weds 22nd
June at 8am. Details can be obtained from Ros. As you pray for this meeting,
please pray for progress and clear review of both the KA Chaplaincy and the
Police and Churches Prayer initiative.
Communion and Healing Service will be held on the 26th June
at 6.30pm in church.
NOTICES
Prayer Ministry Team: consists of Jane, John, Joyce, Patti, Susan, Gwil, Lisa and
Ian, they will be available to pray with any of us who need prayer at the end
of a Sunday service.

Act Fast – to unearth the truth – 3 prayers to say
and one action to take on behalf of the Tear Fund Summer Campaign. Please take a card, pray and if you feel able, act by filling in the card and sending to David Heath MP. Individual cards have more effect than petitions or mass mailings. Thank you for your help in this.

Andrew & Katherine I thought you would like to know that my prayers have been answered concering my daughters.On the 30th September they were reunited & hugging each other.Stephen & I have met up with Jen twice since. Jen may be coming here for a Christmas meal on Christmas day !!! Love & prayers Lesley
