Sunday – 11:45 am: We meet for worship and fellowship every Sunday morning in The Wincanton Methodist Church
30th Nov – Speaker – Robert Rickards. Please note that this is a joint service with our Methodist friends (fifth Sunday of each month). This service will start at 10:15 am.
Important Note -After the main service (circa 11:45 am) there will be a members meeting. All are welcome, but please note that only members can vote.
Fifth Sunday in the month – When there is a fifth Sunday in the month we have a joint service with our Methodist friends, starting at 10:15 am. Please double check times before coming.
Midweek Activities
These are all based in people’s homes. Details of venues are announced each week. Please contact us for full details.
Mondays – 7:30 pm: Bible Study group, at the Liz Thurgood’s.
Wednesday at 7:30 pm: at home of Joyce Page.
Thursday at 10:15 am: – At Keith & Margaret’s home.
Monday (First of the month) – 10:45 am for 11:00 am start: Julian prayer meeting at the Anglican Church. This is a 30 minute meeting for silent, and contemplative prayer. It’s an interdenominational meeting, open to all.
Please note that on Bank Holidays the meeting is moved to the following week.
Special Events:
25th November – Pray for Ruth as she is taking the assembly at Wincanton Primary School.
6th December (Saturday) – Open house drop-in at Liz’s home. Anytime from 2pm till 6pm for light refreshments.
7th December (Sunday) – 7pm – The Pilgrim Singers invite you to the Gaudete Concert at St. Luke and St. Teresa’s Church, Wincanton, in aid of North Dorset Women’s Refuge. Seasonal refreshments. Tickets £12; under 18 free.
Prayer Day – We recently held a vision day of prayer in the Friends Hall, and other venues throughout the day, ably backed by all your prayers throughout the day.
Now, it’s time to hear your feedback. What do you think you heard from God? God speaks in all ways, amazing and insignificant. So we need you to feedback anything and everything on an on-going basis. That’s how we will alldiscern then will of God for us. The leadership will do its best to keep you all up to date.
We are a family and all part of the decision making process. So please, please feed back to the leadership, day by day, week by week, month by month ……..
